The kitchen in this cute Victorian Cottage had gone through years of “adjustments”. The cabinets were too shallow for standard appliances, like a dishwasher, and the wall cabinets weren’t deep enough to store the homeowner’s dishes so they had simply removed the doors. They wanted to maintain the feel of the period and were concerned about the view from the dining room. The simple inset white cabinetry fit perfectly with the home, including a working pantry cabinet that hides the microwave from view. Adding a punch of red color was a happy surprise.
